Dr. Chikkatur has fifteen years of experience in integrated resource planning, energy efficiency, renewable energy, coal and natural gas markets, and climate policies. He has supported national governments, infrastructure companies, project developers, private equity firms, utilities, and IFIs. As Chief-of-Party of USAID/Ghana funded “Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning (IRRP)” project, he has successfully provided technical assistance and capacity building for the Ghanaian power agencies. Under his leadership, IRRP project has developed the Ghana integrated power sector master plan, based on “least-regrets” resource planning. He has Ph.D. in Physics from M.I.T., and was Research Associate at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
