Bernard Modey is currently Senior Power Sector Consultant at ICF-Ghana working on the USAID-funded Integrated Resource and Resilience Planning Project that developed an Integrated Power System Master Plan for Ghana. He previously served as Director, System Operations at Ghana Grid Company responsible for dispatching power plants for national electricity demand and export. He had also worked as Senior Manager at Volta River Authority’s Transmission Department He has a B.Sc Elect. Engineering (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology), M.Sc. Electrical Engineering (University of Saskatchewan) and M.A. Economic Policy Management (University of Ghana). He is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Engineering and AUW Awards Judge (2016).
