DDG for Natural Resources , Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Finland
Mr. Kai Kaatra is the Deputy Director General for Natural Resources in Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. He is responsible for sustainable use of renewable natural resources, water resources management and climate change adaptation in Finland. He has extensive experience in water resources management, including international cooperation and transboundary water resources management. He is also member of the board of Metsähallitus, a state-owned enterprise, responsible for the management of one third of Finland’s surface area.
