Dr. Olurotimi Awodiji, holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems and Renewable Energy from University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is a registered Professional Engineer with Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He has over 20 years work experience than span the industry and academia. He has worked with many power utilities in Africa to build a robust electricity network that can accommodate and to seamlessly integrate the intermittent variable sources of generation with the existing conventional sources to achieve efficient energy mix and security.
