What is Match!
Match! is an matchmaking and meeting scheduling system to match your needs to those of other attendees, and then arrange a meeting with just a few clicks.
Once you’re logged in, your schedule shows the day broken down into 30-minute time slots. Use these to connect with fellow delegates at designated meeting spaces within the venue.
Meeting Zones have numbered tables for easy connecting onsite. Exhibitors can also use the system to book meetings at their own stand.
When will it be live
We are aiming for the system to go live by 15 April 2019 - one month to the event. So the earlier you register, the earlier you can start matching.

How do I register?
If you have pre-registered for the event by 10 May 2019 and received the confirmation for the event, then we will automatically add you to the Match! system and you will receive a notification with the log in details. This can take up to 48 hours from confirmation to activation, but as we get nearer the event we will be doing this with increased urgency – updating the system regularly every day.
How much does it cost to use Match?
It’s FREE to all attendees of African Utility Week and POWERGEN Africa - granted they have pre-registered by 10 May 2019.
Please note that depending on your registration pass, you will have more or less access.
I've not received my email notifications with my login details. What do I do?
After the 15th of April, within 48 working hours of registering, you should be sent an email with your log in details.
Occasionally, spam filters can sideline genuine emails so check your spam filters too. If you have still have problems, please contact the concierge: Pamela Largue.
Do I have to complete my profile?
Completing your profile page with as much information as possible will enable you to network and promote yourself more effectively and allow the system to match you better.
How do I contact the person I am meeting?
Once the meeting between you has been confirmed, then you should be able to see the other person’s email address.
If they have provided their phone number on their profile page, then you should be able to see this also.
Can I meet people outside of the venue?
You are free to meet people at a more suitable location outside the venue but you accept full responsibility for that location.
You may also want to consider that being outside of the venue may delay you getting to the next talks, panel discussions, meetings, or just hearing any of the latest announcements.
